A little of my story

I am a technical production director at a large church, and I have been serving in this world for about 18 years, in just about every role a church production team has. Along the way I have been blessed to tour with artists in both the mainstream and Christian music scenes, which was a gift in its own right: a chance to serve God on a bigger stage and keep learning the craft.

I have been a professional audio engineer for 24 years, and I still love my job as much as I did at the start. Building software is my other love. It started when I was a kid tinkering in DOS, grew into programming microchips, and then into web development, and I still do it on the side, just for the fun of it.

All of that adds up to years of standing right where you stand, with the pressure on and a hundred small things to get right. I know these rooms from the inside, and I know the quiet stress of a Sunday morning when the tools are fighting you instead of helping and there is no support behind you setting you up for success.

Most of the people running slides, sound, cameras, and lyrics on a Sunday are volunteers giving their time, and they deserve tools that respect that time and do not cost a fortune. I am a Christian, I believe the local church matters, That is really why this exists; a single fair price with no subscription, and I would rather quietly help a church steward what it has than bill it every month.
